The Jackson Hole Center for the Arts is a fantastic entertainment center that can host 500 people and is located just two blocks away from Jackson’s Town Square. Before enjoying a show at the Center, you can enjoy a quick bite to eat at the nearby restaurants. The Center for the Arts features live entertainment from full orchestral productions to ballet. During the summertime you will find stagecoaches ready to pick up anybody interested in a tour of Jackson Hole complete with background and history of the town and the things in it. During the winter, the square takes on a very festive feel as the trees are decorated with stringed lights and the whole thing is covered in a blanket of snow. National Elk Refuge

Over the past 100 years, the National Elk Refuge has been the home to the largest elk herd in the United States. It is home for 5,000-8,000 wintering elk each year along with bison, deer, bighorn sheep and wolves. During the winter months, huge groups of elk migrate to the refuge and can be seen from nearby roads. You can also get up close to these majestic creatures on sleigh rides provided for the public from December to April each year. Get within a few feet of these animals on these large sleighs pulled by horses and you may see others animals who also frequent the area.
